Open sans is a humanist sans-serif typeface designed through steve Matteson and commissioned by means of google. Proposing vast apertures on many letters and a large x-peak (tall slash-case letters),
the typeface is enormously legible on reveal and at small sizes. It belongs to the humanist style of sans-serif typefaces, with true italic. It used to be released in 2011.
